The new Waitrose store on Dorking High Street opened it's doors to the public on the 16th October, following a 36 week construction and redevelopment programme. The store is built over seven levels and includes a large covered customer car park across five of the levels. All new electrical services throughout the building including LED Lighting, Main Switch Panels, Temporary Generator, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Security Systems, Cat 6 Data Installation and BMS Controls Systems were designed and installed by Paul Earl Ltd.
The new 25,000 sq ft shop will provide Dorking shoppers with an extended range of products and services. It features a new café overlooking the town, an extensive wine department, a fresh bakery and hundreds more every day items. There is also eat-in areas throughout the branch where shoppers are able to enjoy different foods, including salads, fresh baguettes and deli platters. Dorking also features a Waitrose juice bar, offering freshly squeezed juices and smoothies.
